Pastor Ron has announced his upcoming retirement at the beginning of November. Bethel Community is now beginning the search for a new senior pastor! Meet Pastor Ron Opmeer

Ron studied at UBC (BA in Religious Studies) and then at Regent College for ministry training (M’Div.). He was ordained at Grace Community Church in Surrey in 1991 and served in a church in Alberta for 20 years until coming to Abbotsford in 2012.
